HAHAHA, I know exactly what you mean . . . same thing happened to me, too! I also got sucked into the forums in a big way, and lost about a million hours of potential knitting time watching different ravelry group dramas unfold.

I agree, getting lost in cyberspace is so easy. Plurk sucked me dry, I have to stay away, it's such a waste of my time. Can't wait to see your knitting.

Plurk sucked me dry, it was a wast of my time - I am trying to stay away, I only get on 1 day a week. Glad you are back, can't wait to see the knits.

I only allow myself time to post a few items on Ravelry and then I force myself to log out. I swear that one day, I spent a couple of hours perusing it. No more. NO time. I have to dye yarn sometime!
I too have felt the yearning for lace weight yarn. I ordered in some cool yarn from my wholesaler for the shop and I can't wait for it to get here so, I can tear into it and start dyeing up new colorways!
Glad to see you are still alive and not stuck in the hospital zone!
